Looking for a summer plan on the Costa del Sol that is not just another nightclub? Loco Bongo is exactly that. It is a show, a party and a game rolled into one. Every season it fills the Torremolinos bullring with music from the 90s, absurd prizes and an atmosphere where everyone is welcome.

This summer 2026, Loco Bongo lands at Plaza Paraíso with 9 dates. This guide tells you what it is, how it works, what makes it so different — and all the dates so you do not miss a single one.

What is Loco Bongo?

Loco Bongo is an open-air afternoon party and game show inspired by the TV contests of the 1990s. It mashes the mystery of classic bingo with outrageous challenges, pop music, tombolas and a whole lot of chaos. It is Spain's most fun afternoon party, made for laughing, playing and dancing hard.

The idea is simple, which is exactly why it works. You arrive, the hosts hand you your game materials, and the fun begins. You do not need to know anything beforehand — just let yourself go.

The event is organised by Locamente and La Fábrica del Arte. What started as a weekend afternoon party has grown into a phenomenon touring Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, Gran Canaria and, of course, Torremolinos. Media including El País and El Periódico have recommended it, and the show is even preparing a TV debut.

How does Loco Bongo work?

It works in three steps: on arrival, the hosts hand you your game materials and run through the rules; during the show you play along and, if selected, go up on stage for a random challenge involving singing, trivia or a physical task; and between rounds there is music and dancing.

The mechanics: as soon as you walk in, the team gives you everything you need to play and explains the rules in a couple of minutes. No prior experience required.

The prizes: none of the games offer a direct prize — the games are pure entertainment. Selected participants head to the stage for a surprise challenge. That is the magic: you never know what they will ask you to do.

The party: between rounds the DJ plays non-stop hits from the 80s, 90s and today. You can drink, move around and do whatever you like. The whole session runs for about five hours of continuous show.

What makes Loco Bongo different from a normal nightclub?

The difference is that you are not just the audience — you are part of the show. Instead of watching a dancefloor, you play, compete and get up on stage. Add a host with enormous charisma, a constant wink to 90s TV, and an open, inclusive environment where everyone genuinely fits in.

Loco Bongo is a markedly inclusive and LGBTQ+-friendly space. As the host puts it, "you can arrive straight and leave fabulous." Nobody feels out of place.

It is also the perfect group plan: it works brilliantly for hen dos, birthdays and big groups of friends. The laughter is collective — the more people, the better. And because it ends in the early evening, your whole night is still free afterwards.

Who hosts the show?

The heart of Loco Bongo is Xenon Spain, the unpredictable presenter who drives the stage from start to finish. She is joined by the hosts who guide you through the game, and a team that keeps the energy at full throttle throughout.

The cast is key to understanding why it works. This is not a pre-recorded show or a rigid script. Every performance changes according to the crowd, the challenges and the energy in the room — which is why regulars never have the same evening twice.

That live, reactive format is what has caught the attention of the press and TV producers. The show has already sold out enormous venues, including the Palau Sant Jordi in its XXL format.
