Going out in Torremolinos: four zones, four vibes
Torremolinos has been a party town since the 1960s, and in summer 2026 it shows no signs of stopping. Between the seafront, La Nogalera and the old town centre, there is something going on almost every night of the week. What is genuinely new this year is a fifth dot on the map: the Plaza de Toros, where Plaza Paraíso brings concerts, DJ parties and shows to the historic bullring from 25 July to 13 September.
Whether you are after a full night out or just a great evening plan, this guide walks you through every area and helps you choose what suits your group.
The Torremolinos nightlife map
There is no single "nightlife strip" in Torremolinos — there are several, each with its own character. Most people end up moving between two or three in the same evening.
The Seafront — Los Álamos and Playamar
The highest concentration of beach clubs and chiringuito bars in Torremolinos lines the paseo marítimo between Los Álamos in the north and Playamar in the south. The party starts while the sun is still high: Latin beats, bachata, reggaeton and soft house soundtrack the transition from beach to bar. Some venues keep going well past midnight on summer weekends, drawing a crowd from across the Costa del Sol and from Málaga city, which is only 20 minutes by train.

La Nogalera
Spain's oldest LGBTQ+ neighbourhood and one of the most storied on the whole of the Costa del Sol. La Nogalera is a compact square packed with bars, clubs and terraces that have been doing their thing since the early 1990s. The vibe is inclusive, festive and free — exactly the kind of place where everyone ends up having a better time than they planned. If you are looking for an unpretentious crowd and a guaranteed atmosphere, start here.

Pueblo Blanco and the Town Centre
The pedestrianised old town around Calle San Miguel, Plaza de la Costa del Sol and Plaza de la Independencia is where most evenings begin. English pubs, tapas bars and terrace restaurants make it a low-key way to ease into the night before moving on. It is the quietest of the four zones and the best option if you want to eat well and have a proper conversation before the music takes over.

The Plaza de Toros: Plaza Paraíso
The summer's big new addition. The historic Torremolinos bullring — inaugurated in 2003 and last used for bullfighting in 2015 — is transformed this summer into an open-air venue with grass areas, food trucks, bars and themed décor for each event. This is not a bar or a club: it is a 50-plus-night programme mixing parties, concerts, theatre and a gastrofest, all within a single walled venue steps from the seafront.
The key difference from the rest of Torremolinos's nightlife is the format. Instead of venue-hopping, you buy a ticket for a specific show and spend the whole afternoon and evening in one beautifully set-up space — no queuing, no searching for the next bar.
Plaza Paraíso: the ticketed party at the bullring
Three shows concentrate the most party-focused part of the programme:
Loco Bongo is the after-beach party that has been filling Torremolinos for six summers running, now with a permanent home inside the bullring. Every Saturday from 19:00, expect bingo rounds, tombola, an outrageous crowd and the infectious energy that has made it a Costa del Sol institution. Over-18s only; reserved tables and 4-for-3 deals available for groups.
Furor The Show, hosted by Alonso Caparrós, brings back the classic TV music contest format as a live show: two audience teams compete to the biggest hits of the 80s, 90s, 2000s and today. Sundays in August, 19:00–23:00. Over-18s only.
Bresh — the self-styled "most beautiful party in the world" — closes the season on Saturday 12 September with giant inflatables, confetti cannons and a relentless Latin pop and reggaeton soundtrack. The perfect final night of the summer.
Beyond the party programme, Plaza Paraíso also runs concerts (including Laura Gallego), theatre shows and the Little Italy Gastrofest — so even on weeknight visits there is plenty of reason to drop by. The full programme is on the website.
The summer's new plan
Plaza Paraíso
Plaza Paraíso turns the historic Torremolinos bullring into an open-air venue with a bar, grass chill-out zones, food trucks and a different show every afternoon. Everything in one place — no bar-hopping required.

The four zones are not mutually exclusive. A popular summer formula is to start with dinner in the centre, catch an afternoon show at Plaza Paraíso, then continue at the seafront or La Nogalera, depending on the mood. Frequently asked questions about Torremolinos nightlife
What is the best area for nightlife in Torremolinos?
It depends what you are after. For beach clubs with music into the early hours, the seafront paseo marítimo wins on sheer number of venues. For an inclusive, LGBTQ+-friendly scene, La Nogalera. For a relaxed dinner and drinks before moving on, Pueblo Blanco and the town centre. And if you want a show with everything in one place — no bar-hopping required — Plaza Paraíso at the bullring is the newest and most effortless option.
How late does Torremolinos stay open?
The seafront beach clubs and La Nogalera bars regularly run past midnight, especially on summer weekends in July and August. Plaza Paraíso events are afternoon-to-evening (roughly 19:00–23:00), designed so you can easily continue the night elsewhere afterwards if you want.
Do I need to book tickets for Plaza Paraíso in advance?
Yes. Because events take place inside the bullring with a fixed capacity, tickets for popular shows — particularly Loco Bongo on Saturdays and Bresh on 12 September — sell out. Book online at plazaparaiso.com/entradas to avoid missing out.
Is Torremolinos worth a night out if I am staying in Málaga?
Absolutely. The C-1 Cercanías train connects Málaga city centre with Torremolinos in about 20 minutes, runs late in summer, and the return fare is under €2. Many visitors base themselves in Málaga and come to Torremolinos specifically for an evening at Plaza Paraíso, then head back by train without needing a car or a taxi.
Before you go
The seafront, La Nogalera and Pueblo Blanco will be exactly what they always are in summer: the reason so many people keep coming back to Torremolinos year after year. The bullring is the new piece of the puzzle, and it is only open until 13 September — so if Loco Bongo, Furor The Show or Bresh are on your list, now is the time to book.
