Two nights to live it the Italian way
Torremolinos is about to smell of fresh pasta and Aperol Spritz on two nights this August. Little Italy Gastro Fest arrives at Plaza Paraíso on 27 and 28 August 2026, turning the historic Torremolinos bullring into a great Mediterranean piazza.
This isn't a food truck market or a stand at a fair. It's a proper food festival, with four themed zones, live music and evenings designed to keep you there until the very end. The premise is simple: no shortcuts, everything made on the spot. Pasta cooked right in front of you, slow-fermented pizza dough and a Nonna who plays host all night long.
Four zones, one night is not enough
Everything revolves around La Piazza, the central space with warm lighting, shared tables and non-stop live music. From here you access the festival's four food zones:
🍝 La Barra de la Nonna
The savoury zone: fresh pasta in several formats, focaccia paninis and Italian charcuterie boards — prosciutto di Parma, salami Milano, bresaola — sliced to order.
🍕 La Pizza
Al taglio format, with slow-fermented dough, San Marzano tomato and fior di latte. Baked as it goes — no waiting around.
🍮 Dolce Italia
Dessert as a reason to stay: spoonable tiramisù, ricotta cannoli and gelato artigianale. Not the end of the evening — the excuse to extend it.
🍹 El Aperitivo de Hugo
Italian cocktail bar: Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Bellini, Hugo Spritz and vermouth. The aperitivo treated as a ritual, not a quick drink before leaving.
Live music and a trip to Rome
As well as eating and drinking, the festival features live music and shows every night in La Piazza. Every ticket automatically enters a prize draw for a trip to Rome for two people: buy your ticket, enjoy the night and, with luck, take home the Eternal City as a bonus. Draw details and conditions are explained on the night at the venue.
